Good, Bad and Ugly kits from the past – Rotherham United

Good – away shirt 2018/19
Puma’s football shirts have been remarkably good over the last ten years or so and took over producing Arsenal shirts for a short while.
This Rotherham United way shirt from last season is a really smart design and the colour scheme is great!

Bad – home shirt 1995/96
This shirt wouldn’t be in the bad section at all if it wasn’t for the white meshing pattern that went over the red section of the shirt. It looks like the shirt has been pressed too hard on a white wire fence!
This was the shirt that the Chuckle Brothers wore in the episode when their childhood dreams came true and they became Rotherham United players for the day! I’ve included the episode below:

Ugly – home shirt 2000 – 02
Rotherham United’s are usually predominantly red with white as the secondary colour. In their entire history, they have only ever had two shirts that didn’t follow this rule.
The first ever shirt to be worn by Rotherham United was yellow with a black V running from each shoulder down to the lower half of the shirt.
This was the second shirt to go against the grain and really isn’t very nice. The Millers never returned to this colour scheme after 2002.
