Good, Bad and Ugly kits from the past – Peterborough United

Good – away shirt 1993/94
Controversial opinion I know, but I really like this away shirt! Mind you, I also liked the England goalkeeper’s rainbow shirt that was worn by David Seaman in the penalties against Germany in 1996!
Manufactured by Posh Leisure, this unique away shirt was worn for one season. It was a red shirt with blue, green and yellow blotches on it. It has quite a striking resemblance to the Norwich City home shirt of the same season.

Bad – home shirt 2001/02
This shirt was only worn for the one season and it really isn’t nice. Having looked at all of Peterborough’s home shirts in their history, they have never worn a shirt with so much white in it before or since. I don’t think that it looks ideal.

Ugly – home shirt 1990/91
This design is the exact copy of the one that Gillingham wore in the same season. I rated it ‘Bad’ for The Gills but it gets the ‘Ugly’ rating for The Posh as it’s the worst one that they have worn!
