Good, Bad and Ugly kits from the past – Crawley Town

The 2016/17 home shirt

Good – home shirt 2016/17
This shirt was to be the last to be manufactured by Puma for Crawley (their shirt manufacturers since 2011) and they certainly went out in style.
The shirt was very basic but smart red shirt with a plain black collar and black stripe down each sleeve.

Bad – home shirt 2012/13
This was the second shirt that Puma produced for Crawley and in my opinion, is one of the worst.
The shirt looks like one from the 1970’s and was too white, the colour of the wide stripe down the middle of the shirt. There wasn’t much red on the shirt, Crawley’s traditional colour either.

Ugly – home shirt 1989-91
Crawley opted for a plain pink shirt for their home kit for the 1989/90 and 1990/91 season. There were several vertical pinstripes down the shirt and a white and red V-neck.
Only one change was made to the shirt in the summer of 1990 and that was to change the colour of the EBM sponsor that ran horizontally across the front, from black to white.
This has to be the ugliest kit and Crawley have never worn pink since!
